Thursday evening half price wine glass. Started with a nice shiraz accompanied by the chicken pizza. The pizza was nice, not the best but still good, hand rolled thin crust. Decent 10 inch size pizza good for two. Ended with the pistachio lava cake. Takes about 20 min for the special dessert which has a nice flavour of pistachio.
My server, Erin, was very nice and took attention to my table for one. Would recommend her serving.
Overall a decent place to come. Food is fine...
Stayed at the hotel and thats why was choice for tonight dinner. -

Typical hotel fare. I had a bowl of butternut soup, which was piping hot but lacked flavour.
Followed with the Roadhouse Burger, which was a bit lukewarm. A big burger with a sunny side up egg, bacon, beef patty, cheese and greens on a sourdoughbun. Was good but just wish it was a bit warmer.
Nothing special but not too bad either. -

Gave this place another shot. I was contacted by the manager after I had not had a great experience the first time. So I figured she made the effort so I'll try it again.
Once again the seating service was slow. I'm not sure why this keeps happening but they may need to hire a hostess to stand at the from and seat people.
Regardless my wait person was on top of her game. She was there when I was ready and had some recommendations ready to go. I ended up have the butter chicken and wow! It was delicious. Just the right amount of spice and the veggies in the sauce where form by cooked properly. I also always run out of naan when I get butter chicken but not here. I even left some on the plate when I was finished. The local beer selection is also a great idea however I would recommend a fruity beer on the menu for the summer months.
All in all this was a much better experience then the last. -

This review will cover two (completely!) different experiences: 1) Buffet Breakfast & 2) Evening Drink at the Bar, which will explain the 1 star review as we go.
The Buffet Breakfast (solid 3.5 Stars!) was actually really good, better than most hotel restaurants. The standard scrambled eggs, two kind of pig products; sausage and bacon, granola, yogurt and cereal, bagels and bread, tasty fresh fruit and the always forgettable hash browns in a giant warmer that makes them soggy. They also have poached eggs in one of those warmers, which obviously allows for no runny yolks but passable as hard boiled.
The best part of the buffet is they have an omelet station and a chef that slaps one together with your chosen ingredients while your tongue wags with hungry anticipation. There is table service for coffee, tea, juice and water. I had only pleasant interactions with the staff working the morning of Sunday, August 14th, 2016.
Now the absolute NEGATIVE; for the staff working as bartenders on Saturday, August 13th, 2016 (at approx. 7:00pm) you are the experience why Wild Sage gets 1 star, I would give you 0 if possible.
The service was adequate enough and the Caesar was just 'ok' but the conversation you were having with the other patrons at the bar (your friends?) was disgusting. You cannot, in public and while at work, speak about women in the manner that you chose to. You spoke loudly and with a number of grossly provocative stories about your previous conquests using the Tinder app and your future plans with women you'll meet. The couple of 'bros' you were chatting with (your friends?) were not helping by leading with and then egging on the stories but this type of behavior is sickening and I'm shocked you don't have the wherewithal to know this.
Your entire conversation made my party of two extremely uncomfortable and it is the reason that she and I did not stay for another drink. If you want to objectify women and chest pound about your bravado, do it at home, privately in your chauvinist cave and not at your place of work. I seriously hope you (bartenders and patrons) are not prime examples of the type of men in Regina because otherwise a lot of women are in deep, deep trouble. -

Erin was amazing! She was attentive, her service was excellent and she was a great conversationalist. Very helpful, honest and knowledgeable. Also the food was delicious and the menu had a wide variety of unique and flavorful options.
